Fritos may be a delicious snack, but is it something you can give to the family dog? You probably know that sharing this highly processed junk food isn’t a good idea. Canines love crunchy treats but think twice before you act.

If you don’t have any treats handy, and your dog is bugging for a Frito, try giving them some individual pieces of their dry kibble. That way they are getting something that’s also crunchy, and they won’t feel left out of the snacking fun.

Better yet, have them perform a trick in order to get that special treat. This way they won’t develop the habit of expecting to eat with you. Fritos have likely re-enforced bad begging behaviors in many dogs.
