ORGANIX, the leading organic pet food manufacturer, has earned Non-GMO Project Verified status for their canned pet food recipes that are made with organic chicken. The company offers the most complete line of certified organic natural pet food made under the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Organic program.

ORGANIX achieved the status after going through a rigorous verification process that only recognizes the best practices for GMO avoidance in recipe ingredients. Castor & Pollux, the creators of the ORGANIX brand, was acquired by Merrick Pet Care, Inc. in 2012. Merrick is the only U.S. manufacturer certified to make both wet and dry organic pet food.

Beginning this summer, pet parents can expect to see the new cans bearing the seal on pet store shelves. ORGNAIX recipes are sold in a variety of stores including PetSmart, Whole Foods, and Sprouts Farmers Markets, as well as online.
