Hank the Tank might be overweight, but this big dog has an even bigger role to play in his owner’s life. He is actually a therapy dog who alerts his owner, Kari Whitman, to take her medicine because she is going to have a migraine! Kari and Tank do a lot of traveling and he became famous when someone took a photo of him boarding a flight as a first class passenger and it went viral. Well folks, owing to Kari’s job as an interior designer to the stars, they are frequent flyers and because Kari can afford it, they fly first class all the way!

The downside of being famous is that Kari gets flack for Hank being obese. What many do not know is that this dog has had surgery for a torn ligament on his leg so he can barely walk that time the pic went viral, and owing to hypothyroidism in dogs, he became overweight. Truth to tell, Hank only eats a cup of dog food everyday and once he has recovered from his surgery, he will be working out. He has actually lost nearly 20 pounds in recent months. So I’m sure, Hank the Tank he won’t be, someday soon!
