Watson, a fair-haired Golden Retriever, is calm beyond his years. The one-and-a-half year old puppy is special: he has a therapeutic presence, despite being so young.

When he got a new Golden Retriever brother, this cuddle-bug eased the newcomer’s nerves and made him feel at home.

Golden-haired Kiko was five when he was adopted, and had anxiety issues as he adjusted to his new surroundings. But with Watson by his side, he was quickly comforted, and made to feel like part of the family.

Then came another new sibling: Harry the cat! Although he was smaller, grayer, and–well–a feline, Watson once again opened his heart and his paws, and he and Kiko welcomed the kitty into the family.

Amazingly, this trusty trio gets along wonderfully, enjoying each other’s company and cuddles.
