Uh-oh! Dog swallows diamond earring!

When Valerie MacDonald took her Westie, Max, for a walk, an unknown hiker and her daughter stopped to admire the adorable white dog.

The Daily Record reported,

Playful Max was delighted at the attention and leapt up to lick the woman’s ear. Seconds later she realised her diamond stud had vanished. Valerie helped search for the jewellery after last Saturday’s incident but there was no sign of it.

Of course, this story doesn’t end there… it was soon discovered what happened to that earring. By the next morning, nature took its course and Valerie was able to recover the earring from Max’s poop. She told reporters, “My husband rescued it and cleaned it up, but we have no idea who this lady was or where she was from.”

Now, she’s trying to locate the earring’s owner. Valerie told The Daily Record, “It was a diamond stud and she said she’d had it for a long time.”
