We’ve all heard stories that prove that Dogs Can Survive Amazing Ordeals. A recent article on the EdmontonJournal.com website highlighted a story about a dog adopted from WHARF, a rescue group that specializes in taking in dogs that are near death. The dog had survived several miles out in the ocean, apparently for several days. Once rescued, it slept for almost a week, got some desperately needed medical care, and then was turned over to WHARF, an Edmonton-based rescue group.
