On May 20, 2014, Cesar sat down with Eva Jinek on the Dutch TV show “Eén op Eén” (“One on One”) as Cesar talks about everything from what he wanted to be if he hadn’t become a dog behaviorist to his journey to America, and dogs and dating.

Cesar also discusses his depression and suicide attempt, how Daddy helped him make business decisions, and why, growing up, he was known as “el perrero,” or “dog boy.”

He also addresses his critics directly and explains his mission. “My goal is to save the lives of dogs,” Cesar says. “We have to get rid of our ignorance. That’s how we help dogs.”
