We know that you love animal friendships. Especially the ones that involve dogs. And this animal friendship we’re featuring today is definitely very special.

Dogs are known to chase squirrels. But this dog named Callie is different, because she’s got squirrel for a best friend!

Stewart the squirrel fell out of a tree when he was still a baby.

Fortunately, he was rescued by a family. And in that family Stewart found his best buddy, Callie the mini Australian Shepherd.

From then on, Callie and Stewart grew very fond of each other.

They play together, nap together, and boy do they love to cuddle!
