Update: boss of worker that attacked dogs in backyard defends employee’s actions

Update 4/12/16: Boss of contract employee defends his worker for his actions, justifying that he had “to protect himself when the dogs were unleashed on him.” See the news footage below:

Sometimes there are stories that you hear that hit really close to home, and for me, this is one of them. This incident occurred only 5 miles from my home, and it’-s a scary situation that can occur anywhere in the world, right in your own backyard. Since the time that we were kids, we all remember the “-gas man”- coming to check the meter readings, right? Well, based off their experiences with some protective canines, not all of these workers might not be the biggest fans of dogs–-although the dog is just protecting what is theirs, right?! Regardless of their personal opinions, nothing can justify them hurting a dog while doing their job. Dogs are naturally protective, and when an intruder steps on their property, they are going to be curious about the situation. Even if it’-s just a bark, sometimes a sniff, or even wagging their tails while acting tough.

Video: Two Black Women Severely Beaten After Attacking A Worker At McDonalds

Recently in Kingwood, Texas, located just outside of Houston, two beautiful 8-year-old Weimaraner dogs were minding their own business in their backyard when they were brutally attacked by a worker from CenterPoint Energy. The dogs approached the intruder, by no means attacking, when the contractor used a wrench to bludgeon the dogs, one almost losing sight and requiring reparative surgery. The worst part of all of this? The Cox family was home, and there was no knock on their front door whatsoever.

Thankfully local news stations have started to catch wind of this video that is going viral:

It is so sad to think what happened to these poor dogs who were doing absolutely nothing wrong, and that the Willcox’s son now thinks there are monsters in his own backyard. Swift justice needs to be served to the man who did this to these beautiful creatures!! We want to know, what would you have done?
