Each year, more that four million people in the United States are bitten by dogs with about half of those bitten under the age of 18.

Most dog bites occur, not out of anger or aggression, but out of fear. As pet parents, it’s our responsibility to raise confident dogs to the best of our abilities, to understand basic dog body language, to keep fearful or reactive dogs feeling safe and comfortable in their surroundings, and to prevent avoidable dog bites from occurring.
