Did you see the movie “The Artist”?

It’s the favorite to win the Oscar tonight for Best Picture because it’s gobbled up every award in sight.

The real star of the film is Uggie, the Jack Russel terrier who steals the spotlight in every scene.

As he saves his dog parent from dying in the movie, Uggie is the true star.

And yet, he was denied an invite to walk down the red carpet.

There have been other dogs invited to walk down the red carpet.

So why deny Uggie that right?

Because actors like Tom Selleck are saying that Uggie is “too cute!”
