Background

This nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization was founded as Cesar Millan Foundation on Valentine’s Day 2007, and changed to Cesar Millan PACK Project in November of 2015.
As you know, I would not be who I am today without my pack. These are the dogs and people who have always been there to support me in my own life and my mission to make life better for animals and humans.

I’m looking to grow my new PACK so that together we can do even more! I really want you to become a part of it: together we will make the world a better place.

What is the PACK Project? In addition to the word “pack” defining our group of dogs and people, the PACK part of our name stands for People, Action, Canines, and Kindness. We explain this in detail on our website, but when we formed the acronym PACK, we realized that each word is a big part of who we are and how we will achieve our life-saving, world-changing mission. We hope you agree, and that you will join us!

PACK Projects

Cesar Millan PACK Project has two new programs that are very close to my heart.

Mutt Medics

This program addresses the silent genocide occurring every day inside of animal shelters as thousands of dogs and cats are euthanized. Spaying and neutering are the best ways to reduce this slaughter. Our PACK Project, through Mutt Medics, will lead by example, offering free and low-cost spay and neuter services in our new mobile veterinary unit.

We are already offering vaccinations and other services to under-served communities in Southern California, and our mobile unit is also a self-contained disaster relief and emergency response vehicle. With your help, Mutt Medics will expand to multiple American and then international units that allow our PACK to help canines (and their people) in need around the world. Just think of all the dogs you will help when you join the PACK!

Fostering Hope

While Mutt Medics addresses the issues of today, the Fostering Hope project focuses on our future: children, who are our best chance of reducing pet euthanasia over the long term. That’s why I believe that the most important and effective way to change the world is through education- the second is through prevention. Teaching children combines these two methods by empowering kids — who have the potential to truly change the future of our world. If you and I teach children now, and give them the proper tools, there will be far fewer problems to fix as these same kids grow up and take over.

To accomplish this, we’ve created “Fostering Hope” to educate and help children and shelter dogs at the same time. This program pairs foster children with shelter dogs, giving them both healing, rehabilitation, and training. We rescue dogs from death row and help prepare them for adoption while helping foster kids by giving them a purpose, encouragement, skills, and support that will allow for emotional and mental growth. What could be better than making a positive, life-changing impact for kids and dogs in need — and at the same time? I hope that this inspires you to join my PACK.
