Tiny dogs have very small tummies, and fast metabolisms. 

They need a dog food that`s designed with the right balance of nutrients if you want them to help them grow and develop normally, stay healthy, and have a long life span.

Some little dogs prefer canned food to dry kibble, especially puppies and seniors. This is valid option with tiny/toy breeds, much more so than with the larger ones.
