Dogs are energetic–as any dog owner knows. Our beloved pups run and jump and romp and play, and often, they don’t seem to tire at all! Most humans have a hard time making it to the gym, but it seems that dogs, if given the chance, would jump (literally in many cases!) at the chance to workout on a daily basis.

One human exercise our four-legged friends often get the chance to dabble in is the treadmill. A stationary machine that lets you run and run and run, all without leaving your home? Sign them up! In the video below, we get the pleasure of watching several dogs conquer…or, well, try to conquer the treadmill.

Some are confused by the device, staring at it, heads cocked, trying to figure out what they’re supposed to do with it. Others get the hang of it right away, energetically jumping and staying on until all their energy is gone. There are lots of different reactions dogs have to treadmills, but they all have one thing in common: they are super adorable. Take a look for yourself!
