With the help of her dog, teen takes a stand against bullying in an amazing way
Brittney Monk is a 17-year-old girl in Sevier County Tennessee who was a victim of bullying. She loved animals and she loved to draw, and somehow her passions were criticized by her peers and this led to name-calling. Because of that, Brittney got really depressed and her mom decided to get her away from all the bullying and just have her home-schooled.
But what really helped Brittney was her Jack Russell, named Dodge. When Brittney felt depressed and alone, Dodge was there to comfort her. When she felt that she had no friends, he was right by her side.
Then, Brittany began teaching Dodge tricks. As it turns out, she is one heck of a dog trainer (and he is a star pupil)! Working with Dodge has helped Brittany build confidence again–and the talented Jack Russell knows over 200 tricks!
Together they stand up against bullying. They even made it to the news! Check out the video below:
Now here’s an anti-bullying video that Brittney and Dodge made! It’s very inspiring, touching, and it’s adorable too!
Awww…now wasn’t that the cutest?
Brittney found a true friend in Dodge. Dodge showed her what unconditional love and true friendship really meant.
