Your #patrioticpup could win $100k for charity

A new dog treat line has found a very unique way to promote their new dental chews. Simplicity Pet Care recently launched its newest brand, Patriot 5 Star All-Natural Dental Chews, in conjunction with a new marketing campaign. The social media campaign is being called the #PatrioticPup Competition: The Search for the Most Patriotic Dog in America.

The competition is designed to allow consumers to decide which charities Patriot 5 Star donates to throughout the year. In 2016 they will be focusing on charities that support American veterans, active military, and pets. Prizes will not only include money for charities, but dog toys and American-made dog treats will be up for grabs as well.

It is simple for dog owners to enter their pet. All they have to do is enter their dog’s picture and information on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook for the chance to win money for the charity of their choosing. Each month, Patriot 5 Star will donate $1,000 to the charitable organization of the winning dog owner’s choosing. The winning dog will also get a basket of products for themselves.

At the end of every month, the top entries in the contest will be posted on the company’s website, and the dog that receives the most votes from the public will be the winner. That’s not even the best part! At the end of the year, one of the 12 furry finalists will be crowned “The Most Patriotic Pup in America.” The pup will be awarded $100,000 for the charity of his owner’s choosing.

Patriot 5 Star Dental Chews are grain-free and made with high-quality, 100 percent American-sourced ingredients. Patriot 5 Star Dental Chews are designed to clean pets’ teeth naturally while also promoting healthy gums and freshening breath. The company says that they prevent tartar buildup. These dental chews come in two flavors: cinnamon and mint. As the name states, the products are all-natural and free of wheat, corn and soy.

Both flavors of the new pet treats are available in two sizes: small chews and medium/large chews. The small chews are recommended for dogs 5-25 pounds, and the medium/large chews can be used for dogs weighing 25-75 pounds.

Ingredients for the cinnamon flavored treats include: Potato Flour, Pea Protein, Glycerin, Peas, Gelatin, Natural Flavor, Sunflower Lecithin, Apples, Sunflower Oil, Cinnamon, Ground Flaxseed, Citric Acid and Zinc Propionate.
