Asperger’s Syndrome (AS) is a type of pervasive developmental disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication. Symptoms include problems with social skills, eccentric and repetitive behaviors, problems with coordination and more.

Danielle Jacobs was brave enough to take a video of herself to show everyone how she has coped with meltdowns with the help of her service dog. She trained her dog to be alert when she’s having a meltdown and causing harm to herself. The dog’s name is Samson.
