The Thing of Evil is a hairy critter with sharp teeth and claws…

And her name is Molly.
Stephen King has written about a lot of creatures over his career, but none quite like his furry tri-colored Corgi. An apparent fan of the breed, King has given them honorable mentions in a couple of his famed novels.
Judging by King’s Twitter page, it seems that Molly–I mean, The Thing of Evil–plays a starring role in his life.
Thanks to King’s frequent canine-themed posts (or are they warnings for humankind?), there are a few things that fans can learn about the creature of which nightmares are made.
Apparently the Thing of Evil didn’t make Santa’s “Nice” list…
But she can be a party animal! (Probably celebrating her latest evil-doing…)
Does the Thing of Evil rest? Yes, yes she does.
She is also extra-cautious while in Maine during hunting season.
This creature likes to keep in tip-top shape for doing all those–uh–“evil things.”
And of course, she is constantly concocting her evil plans.
She has a hypnotic stare and mind-altering abilities…

And she depends on her minions to block any ill-will that may be aimed toward her. Long live the Thing of Evil!
Keep vigilant, because this master of disguise will blend right into the crowd.

And despite despite all her freakish ways, one thing is for certain…
The Thing of Evil is so. Darn. Cute!
…or maybe, that’s just what she wants us to think!
