According to BuzzFeed, the picturesque pup’s name is Yahoo and he is a service-dog-in-training. He’s living with a volunteer in San Marcos, California who is teaching him basic obedience. Eventually, he’ll go on to be trained in more sophisticated tasks to become someone’s service dog!

As it turns out, Yahoo is from a nonprofit organization called Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). Jeanine Konopelski, a spokesperson for CCI, told BuzzFeed News that Yahoo was probably practicing focusing on his commands while being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Disneyland.

“Based on that photo, Yahoo is practicing basic obedience commands as he waits for his photo [to be] taken,” she told BuzzFeed News. “That’s a perfect training and socialization for one of our dogs to get used to waiting and sitting at attention.”

And yes, that is a surfboard that Yahoo is standing on in the caricature.
