“Little kids and their big dogs” shows the magical bond between kids & canines

Photographer Andy Seliverstoff knows the magical connection humans share with their canines. That’s why he’s focused his photography career on capturing those beautiful moments that we share together.

With a special soft spot for Great Danes (his website is called the Great Dane Chronicles, after all), Seliverstoff takes time to get to know each of his doggy models in order to capture their essence with his lens.

“The personality and the character is unique for every individual dog,” he writes on his website.

But there’s one thing in particular that he tries to portray with each picture.

“The human aspects we ofter recognize in our dogs are, among other things, what makes us feel so close to them. And it is this aspect I try to express in my photography,” he says.

We’re particularly enamored with Seliverstoff’s series, “Little Kids and Their Big Dogs.” For anyone who has fond memories of a childhood pet, one that was a constant companion, confidant and protector, these photos are sure to give you a pang of nostalgia.
