We all love it when a celebrity does some good and that includes dog celebrities. Manny the Frenchie is known for being a doggy philanthropist, being giving monthly to several rescues and donating throughout the year to many more.

To say he is a well-loved dog would be an understatement. Manny has almost 1 million Instagram fans and 1.4 million Facebook fans. And, like all celebrities, Manny has a Number One Fan.

Joycelun is a young woman with Cystic Fibrosis who just had a double lung transplant. She is also a HUGE Manny fan, following him on Facebook and Instagram, and talking about him constantly, her friends and family say.

She loves elephants just like Manny! Her step-sister wrote to Manny, and told him that although she was too old to apply for the Make A Wish Foundation, she would dearly love to meet him. Manny could not say no to such an email! He flew out from Chicago to New Orleans to surprise her with a very special one-on-one visit. Joycelun thinks she is being interviewed for CF documentary. They ask her about the dog on her shirt and on her pillow (both Manny). “I just want to snuggle him,” Joycelun tells the camera crew. Then they bring him in! Her face when she sees Manny is one of the best things in the world: Her smile says it all! “It was very heartwarming and exciting to be able to visit Joycelun and see that look on her face when she realized I (Manny) was there just for her,” Manny told dogsguru.ru “Having this type of effect on someone is very powerful and rewarding.
