Puppy found high on drugs is ready for a second chance at life

This unique story of severe neglect finally has a happy ending!

Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix Bubba was found this past March in horrific condition: he was high on drugs, including heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana, according to CBSLA. He was taken in by OC Animal Care in Orange, California when his owner was (unsurprisingly) arrested on suspicion of drug possession.

Miraculously, this little pup not only survived, he was successfully detoxed. What’s more, requests to adopt Bubba came pouring in!
