When an 85-year old Idaho woman was killed in a vehicle accident last weekend, no one realized her dog, a 2-year old Chihuahua, was inside, frightened, but unhurt.

The wreckage was loaded up and towed to a junkyard with the tiny dog inside.

Two days later, an officer was inspecting the vehicle at an impound lot when he got quite the surprise.

Tucked inside the totalled van was little Uno Solo, the woman’s dog, appropriately named because her little dog was her “one and only.” In fact, after finding the little dog, authorities have been unable to locate any family or friends that could adopt him. It would seem that the driver was Uno Solo’s one and only, too.
