Video: Emaciated Dog Rescued from a Puppy Mill
40 dogs and over 75 other animals were rescued from a suspected puppy mill in Gates County, North Carolina in 2013. All the animals were living such a deplorable condition. It was a filthy place, and the animals had very little food and water. The Humane Society of the United States, SPCA of Wake County and SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina were called in by Gates County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the rescue and removal of the animals. One of these animals is a Boston Terrier named Tucker.

Tucker is such a sweet and loving dog! I’m so glad to see him happy and loved, and living comfortably with his new mom! A million thanks to the people who helped rescue Tucker and all the other animals!
